Personal Introduction

Lei Shen obtained her Bachelor of Clinical Medicine degree and Ph.D. in Immunology from Nanjing Medical University. She had her postdoctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine and worked as a senior scientist at Stanford University. Currently she is a Principal Investigator at Shanghai Institute of Immunology and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Her group is interested in understanding the mechanisms by which innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) adapt to tissue environment to maintain tissue homeostasis and ILCs contribute to inflammatory disease and cancer, with the goal of developing novel therapeutic approaches by targeting ILCs.
