Personal Introduction

Jing Wang received her Ph.D. in Medical Science from Osaka University in 2011 and continued as a postdoctoral fellow in Osaka University (2011~2013) and University of Calgary (2013~2016), where she used intravital imaging to study how neutrophils responde to sterile injury in vivo at the Laboratory of Dr. Paul Kubes. She joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shanghai Institute of Immunology as a Principal Investigator since May, 2018. Her main research interest is to understand how innate immune cells such as neutrophils and macrophages recognize and respond to the presence of "danger agents" and how the specific tissue environment cues may affect such responses.
