Lab Name:Laboratory of Epigenetic Regulation of Stem Cell Differentiation, Development and Disease
Lab Info：Our lab is interested in understanding the mechanism of cell fate determination. By using multidimensional epigenomic technology in our established stem cell differentiation and development model system, we aim to decipher the regulatory mechanism of lineage commitment, tissues homeostasis, aging，and related diseases in epithelial tissues, especially with the skin as a major focus. On this basis, we devote our effort to developing new stem cell and genomic technologies in skin regenerative medicine and complex disease diagnosis and treatment.
Our current research mainly includes the following aspects: 1. Epigenetic regulation of epithelial tissue development; 2. Regulatory mechanism of early ectodermal differentiation and development; 3. Skin tissue homeostasis，aging and related disease; 4. Stem cell-based skin regenerative medicine.
