肾脏风湿科于上世纪90年代初在国内率先开展儿童血液净化治疗，并于2015 年3 月开展首例长期血液透析，这标志着我科对终末期肾病患儿的综合管理能力再上一个新台阶。2016 年5 月，我科与国际和平妇幼保健院合作，采用先进的产前诊断技术，让一名Alport 综合征母亲顺利产下健康宝宝。此外，2017 年8 月30 日我科开展首例皮肤活检，这有利于Alport 综合征的早期诊断。Alport 综合征是一种主要表现为血尿、肾功能进行性减退、感音神经性耳聋和眼部异常的遗传性肾小球基底膜疾病，患儿最终将进展至终末期肾病。因此，早期诊断及产前干预技术的应用均具有重要的临床意义。

Department of Nephrology and Rheumatology

Department of Nephrology and Rheumatology is one of the earliest unit in China to perform renal replacement therapy in the 1990s. The first long-term hemodialysis was carried outinMarch 2015. It marks the comprehensive management capabilities of our department to treat child patient with end stage renal disease have reached a new level. In May 2016, our department cooperated with the International Peace Maternal and Child HealthHospital to enable a mother of Alport syndrome to successfully produce a healthy baby by using an advanced prenatal diagnosis technology. In addition,our department conducted the first case of skin biopsy on August 30, 2017, which is beneficial to the early diagnosis of Alport syndrome. Alport syndromeis a hereditary glomerular basement membranedisease characterized by hematuria, progressive renal function decline, sensorineural deafness andocular abnormalities. The child patient will eventually progress to end-stage renal disease. Therefore,the application of early diagnosis and prenatal intervention techniques has important clinical significance.
