近年来，儿保科在《健康中国2030 规划纲要》指导下，大力开展儿童早期发展促进、提供0-16 岁儿童保健，特色项目包括：多学科合作开展“ 高危儿整合门诊”，为高危新生儿开展系统、规范、全面的健康管理，2013-2018 年累计提供9541 次随访服务，显著降低了高危新生儿发育迟缓发生率；市教委与卫计委支持下开展注意缺陷多动障碍的医教结合干预；国际合作开展孤独症谱系障碍自然情景下的综合干预；医工交叉开展营养及发育障碍性疾病早期防治；医疗联合体开展区域儿童超重肥胖的综合管理。
