新生儿科年收治病人4500人，年收治危重新生儿占上海市危重新生儿转运量的30%，应用新生儿血液净化技术CRRT、血浆置换治疗多脏器功能障碍综合征（MODS）、肝肾功能衰竭、严重遗传代谢性疾病、新生儿感染性休克已完成32例。开展新生儿体外膜肺氧合（ECMO）治疗新生儿持续肺动脉高压、重症胎粪吸入性肺炎已完成6 例ECMO，存活率75%。在国内危重新生儿高级生命支持技术方面处于领先水平。为新生儿外科各专业提供围手术期病人管理，如普外科先天性膈疝、消化道畸形、NEC，心脏外科复杂先天性心脏病等，年收治手术病人约300例。

Introduction of Department of Neonatology

The Department of Neonatology (including NICU) admits more than 4500 neonates per year. The number of critical ill neonates admitted in this department accounts for 30% of critical ill neonates’ transportation in Shanghai annually. By using newborn continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) joint plasmapheresis technology, this department have carried out the treatment of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS), liver and renal failure, severe inherited metabolic disease, neonatal septic shock and has completed 32 cases. The department have treated 6 cases of neonatal persistent pulmonary hypertension or severe meconium aspiration pneumonia by extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) treatment with a survival rate of 75%. The department is at the leading level in advanced life support technology for critically ill newborns at home and abroad. Meanwhile, the department also provide professional perioperative management for neonatal surgery patients, such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia, congenital gastrointestinal malformations and NEC in general surgery and complex congenital heart disease in cardiac surgery, reaching a total number of 300 surgical patients per year.
