Biography

Hu Fan PhD in Management (2012), teaching and research in department of Community Health and Medical Behavior since 2020, main subjects including Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Clinical Statistical Analysis, R Language Data Analysis, participated in the development of several textbooks as an editorial board member based on previous teaching experience. Guiding students to participate in various innovation and entrepreneurship projects and discipline competition projects, students won the third prize of shanghai mathematical modeling and second prize of MCM/ICM for three consecutive years, also serves as an expert in judging the national graduate student mathematical modeling competition, joint training of several graduate and undergraduate students from 2017-2022, one of the undergraduates won the National Outstanding Graduate Thesis Award in 2021, also published academic papers in several core journals.

Hu Fan research focuses on management of type 2 diabetes, including mathematical modelling of type 2 diabetes complications (Diabetic Retinopathy, Diabetic Nephropathy, Stroke), Build a large cohort study database of type 2 diabetes in six communities in shanghai from 2016 to 2019, also

research on prevention of chronic diseases and all-cause mortality in the elderly and the correlation between environmental pollution source exposure factors and chronic diseases, etc.

Published twenty academic papers as the first author or corresponding author from 2020 to 2021, IF>50. Presided over three national and provincial scientific research projects, main subjects including Stroke machine learning model research, Study on clinical prediction model of fatty liver in adolescents, Cognitive function and air pollution exposure factors, and won the title of Young “Xinglin” Scholar in 2020.
