BIOGRAPHY

Dr Ran’s primary research focus is on epidemiology, including the etiology of major NCDs, identification of modifiable targets for prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, and assessment of indirect effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on NCDs. Dr. Ran has broad interests in introducing interdisciplinary approaches in epidemiological research, including geographic information system, analytical chemistry, medical informatics, bioinformatics, and omics.
