Bio

Dr. Zhang is a university lecture at School of Public Health, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of medicine. She earned her PhD from School of Public Health, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, Unversity of Hong Kong and undertook the postdoctoral training at School of Public Health, Peking University. Her research focus is investigating the health implications of common health behaviors, particularly psycological distress and lifestyle factors. She is also interested in identifying and understanding the role of genome sequence variants and their interaction with environmental exposures involved in chronic disease. She will extend scope of research by examining the effects of prenatal and perinatal risk factors on offspring anthropometric and neurodevelopment outcomes.
