Clinical Research Center

Clinical Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine was established in June 2017. It provides the foundation for scientific research, clinical translation and clinical research service for Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and 13 affiliated hospitals,building a sustainable network of clinical research collaboration.

By supporting to implement high quality and multi-center clinical researches in the medicine school and affiliated hospitals, Clinical Research Institute is dedicated to the establishment of high level clinical research technical platform, fully utilizing the advantage of interdisciplinary to boost the development of clinical research and people's health.

Since 2017, 10 sub-clinical research institutes of affliated hospitals and 1 nursing school sub institute have been established and cooperated closely. In addition, Clinical Research Institute audited more than 300 clinical research projects in 35 hospitals in Shanghai under a three-year innovation plan sponsored by Shanghai Hospital Development Center. It also supports many important national clinical research projects host by medicine school. It has a professional team of young talents dedicated in clinical research. In 2024, Clinical Research Institute has successfully approved the construction of Shanghai Clinical Research Technical platform.
