Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine
Ruijin Hospital Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, originally known as Guangci Hospital, was established in 1907. It is a tertiary hospital integrating medical care, teaching and scientific research, as well as the largest clinical teaching base of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. The hospital boasts numerous medical experts with a high reputation both at home and abroad, including CHEN Zhu and CHEN Guoqiang as members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, WANG Zhenyi, CHEN Saijuan, and NING Guang as members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. As the National Facility for Translational Medicine (Shanghai), it started with the purpose of bolstering two-way exchanges between basic medicine and clinical research, accelerating the translation between medical research results and clinical technology.
