上海市儿童医院麻醉科成立于1980年，是国内率先成功开展连体儿分离手术麻醉的科室，目前能够进行涵盖小儿心胸外科、神经外科、耳鼻喉头颈外科、泌尿外科、骨科、新生儿外科、普外科、眼科、内窥镜检查、心导管检查、内科穿刺诊断以及肝移植等各类手术的麻醉管理和术后镇痛工作。每年完成各类手术麻醉近2万例，科室拥有国内外先进医疗仪器设备，为临床和科研工作的开展提供保障。

Department of Anesthesiology

The Department of Anesthesiology was founded in 1980, which was the first department in China to successfully carry out anesthesia for conjoined separation surgery. The department has introduced advanced medical equipment to provide guarantee for the development of clinical work and scientific research. We finished about 20,000 cases of anesthesia every year. This large number of cases, integrated with ongoing research and education, results in wide-ranging expertise in the anesthetic management of various kinds of pediatric surgeries such as pediatric cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, otolaryngology head and neck surgery, urology, orthopedics, neonatal surgery, general surgery, ophthalmology, endoscopy, cardiac catheterization, internal puncture diagnosis and liver transplantation.
