上海交通大学附属第六人民医院介入影像科是国家临床重点专科，上海市“重中之重”临床重点专科（上海唯一单位），上海市临床重点专科、上海市医学重点学科，是卫生部国家级医学继续教育基地，上海市住院医师规范化培训基地，也是上海交通大学医学院博士、硕士学位授予点和博士后流动站。科室临床科研实力雄厚，在神经影像/神经介入、生物医学工程、心血管影像、骨关节影像和肿瘤分子影像方面有着深厚的积累，曾获得包括国家科技进步二等奖在内的多项国家级和省部级奖项。科室目前拥有在研国家自然科学基金项目10余项，每年发表SCI收录论著约25篇，发表期刊包括临床、影像与材料学顶级期刊，如Annals of Internal Medicine, Advanced Material, Biomaterials, Neurology, Radiology和Circulation Cardiovascular Imaging等。 

The Department of Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Affiliated Sixth People’s Hospital, is the National Key Clinical Specialty, "top priority" clinical specialty in Shanghai (the only unit in Shanghai) and has multiple national and provincial academic awards. The department is the national training base for radiology residents and has successfully run several well-known national continuing education courses in terms of interventional neuroradiology and musculoskeletal radiology. The department is the credited site for post-graduate degree (PhD and master) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, School of Medicine. The department has strong research groups in terms of interventional and diagnostic neuroradiology, bioengeering, cardiovascular imaging and tumor molecular imaging. There are 10 ongoing NSFC grants in the department and more than 25 SCI indexed publication annually, including multiple published researches in Annals of Internal Medicine, Advanced Material, Biomaterials, Neurology, Radiology and Circulation Cardiovascular Imaging.
