On November 29, under clear skies and refreshing autumn sunshine, the School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiao Tong University successfully held the “All-round Cell” Fun Sports Day at the Pudong Campus track field. The pleasant weather and vibrant atmosphere attracted enthusiastic participation from many students, including a dedicated team of international students.

This year’s event featured a variety of interactive and team-based games, such as Pictionary, Drum of Unity, Circle Relay, Stretcher Run, Rolling Wheels, Ball Passing Battle, Caterpillar Sprint, and Time Freeze. The activities combined elements of running, coordination, communication, and teamwork, offering students a relaxed yet energetic experience.

Among these events, the “Drum of Unity” captured the international students’ attention. Originating from traditional Chinese culture, the activity emphasizes unity, synchronized teamwork, and collective strength. Through participating in this culturally meaningful game, international students gained a deeper understanding of Chinese traditions while experiencing the joy of collaboration.

The international student team performed exceptionally well across the various events, demonstrating strong teamwork and steady rhythm during running and coordination challenges. Many participants shared that the Sports Day brought them great happiness and created unforgettable memories. The event also offered a valuable opportunity for international and Chinese students to interact naturally, build new friendships, and develop a deeper understanding of one another.
