Biography

Wang Ying, chief physician and doctoral supervisor, is currently the director of the division of pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition, Xinhua Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She graduated from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2012 with Ph.D. in pediatrics. From 2014 to 2015, she served as a visiting scholar at the University of North Carolina. From 2015 to 2016, she participated in the Global Scholars Research Training Program of Harvard Medical School and achieved excellent scores. Five scientific projects were granted, including two National Natural Science Foundations of China, and three provincial and ministerial scientific research funds. In 2017, she was sponsored by Shanghai Pujiang Program. She has won the second prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize in the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the Song Qingling pediatric medicine Award, and so on. She published 30 SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author.
