Biography

Lv Zhibao, M.D., Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, Vice President of Shanghai Children's Hospital, Vice President of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, College of Pediatrics (also). He has been engaged in pediatric surgery medical treatment, research and teaching for more than 30 years. He has mastered the clinical diagnosis and surgical treatment of various complex diseases in pediatric general surgery, surgical oncology and neonatal surgery, and has mastered the frontier development of this specialty. He is responsible for teaching pediatric surgery in the five-year course of clinical medicine (pediatrics direction) at the School of Medicine of Jiaotong University and advances in pediatrics in the graduate school. He has presided over more than ten projects at the National Natural Science Foundation of China, provincial and ministerial level. He has participated in writing six monographs and one translation, and as a member of the editorial board, he has edited the national textbook and the postgraduate textbook of Pediatric Surgery of the People's Health Publishing House. He has published more than 70 papers, including more than 20 SCI articles. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Pediatric Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the Standing Committee of the Pediatric Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the Standing Committee of the Pediatric Oncology Branch of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, the Vice Chairman of the Hepatobiliary Group of the Pediatric Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the Chairman of the Pediatric Surgery Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, a member of the Surgery Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, the Vice Chairman of the Pediatric Specialty Committee of the International Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Association of China, the Chinese Physicians Association, and a member of the Pediatric Surgery Committee of the Chinese Association of Physicians. He is a member of the Pediatric Surgery Committee of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Editorial Board of the Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery, a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Clinical Pediatric Surgery, a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Clinical Pediatrics, and an Associate Editor of the World Journal of Pediatric Surgery. He has trained more than 20 doctoral and master students.
