Biography

Chen Fang, male, PhD supervisor, special allowance recipient of the State Council, Shanghai Medical Leader, past president of Asia Pacific Association of Pediatric Urologist (APAPU), executive member of the Chinese Medical Association, Pediatric Surgery Branch, editorial board member of Chinese Hospital He is a former president of Asia Pacific Association of Pediatric Urologist (APAPU), a standing member of the Chinese Medical Association, an editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Hospital Management and Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery, a vice chairman of Shanghai Society of Urology and a supervisor of Shanghai Hospital Association.

He received his undergraduate degree from Shanghai First Medical College in 1980, and received his master's degree and doctoral degree from Shanghai Second Medical University (now Jiaoda Medical College) in 1991 and 2004, respectively. He has been engaged in clinical work and academic research in urology, undertaking more than ten national and municipal research projects and publishing more than 120 papers. He has accumulated experience in the correction of complex genitourinary anomalies such as hypospadias, bladder exstrophy and epispadias, cloacal anomalies, research on the genetic mechanism of pathogenesis, and reconstruction using tissue engineering techniques. She has received awards such as the Song Qingling Pediatric Medicine Award, the White Magnolia Award for Children's Work in Shanghai, and the China Hospital Science and Technology Innovation Award (second prize).
