Biography

Jingbin Yan, male, is a researcher of Shanghai Institute of Medical Genetics, Shanghai Children's Hospital, supervisor of doctoral students and head of molecular diagnosis group. He is currently a member of the Genetics and Reproduction Committee of the Cross-Straits Medical and Health Exchange Association, a member of the Medical Genetics Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, and a member of the Genetics and Molecular Diagnosis Committee of the Shanghai Genetics Society. He received his PhD degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2007 (supervisor: Academician Zeng Yitao). His main research interests include epigenetic regulation mechanism of genetic disease pathogenesis. As a project leader, he has undertaken 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 projects of the Shanghai Municipal Science Commission, 2 projects of the Shanghai Municipal Science Commission, 2 projects of the Shanghai Municipal Science Commission, and 1 project of the Shanghai Municipal Science Commission. So far, he has published more than 50 academic papers in core journals at home and abroad (including 30 SCI-indexed papers). He has been awarded the third prize of the Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Society for Laboratory Animals (the first finisher) and the first prize of the Natural Science Award of the First Society for Maternal and Child Health (the fifth finisher).
