Biography

Li Xiaoyan, female, master supervisor, vice president of Shanghai Children's Hospital. She is currently the deputy head of the Pediatric Group of the Chinese Medical Association's Otolaryngology Branch, the deputy head of the Otolaryngology Group of the Chinese Physicians Association's Adolescent Medicine Specialty Committee, the deputy chairman of the Pediatric Otolaryngology Committee of the Chinese Women's and Children's Minimally Invasive Association, the member of the Otolaryngology Branch of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, and the deputy chairman of the Pediatric Allergic Reaction Committee of the Chinese Society for the Promotion of Human Health. He is a member of the Executive Editorial Board of the Journal of Clinical Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Editorial Board of the Journal of Audiology and Speech, and Editorial Board of the Chinese Journal of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine and Otolaryngology. In the past 5 years, he has been an associate editor of Practical Pediatric Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, an associate editor of Chinese Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, an editorial board member of Zhu Futang Practical Pediatrics, an editorial board member of Clinical Pediatric Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and has undertaken 7 provincial and ministerial level research projects. He has long been devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of congenital diseases in pediatric otolaryngology, especially experienced in the treatment of laryngeal airway diseases such as laryngotracheal stenosis, malformation, laryngeal softening and vocal cord paralysis, as well as difficult and critical diseases of head and neck tumors. He has developed a series of standardized procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of cervical gill fissure malformations in children and has taken the lead in formulating relevant domestic guidelines. The free hyoid bone reconstruction of cricoid cartilage for laryngotracheal stenosis was awarded the innovation project of Shanghai Shenkang Development Center and the gold medal for outstanding innovation in Shanghai Excellent Invention Selection Competition.
