Biography

Hua Xie, male, M.D., M.S., Director of Urology Department, Shanghai Children's Hospital, visiting scholar at Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Boston Children's Hospital, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, USA. He is a member of Asia Pacific Association of Pediatric Urologist (APAPU), International Pediatric Endosurgery Group (IPEG), etc.; Chinese Medical Association Pediatric He is also a member of the Chinese Medical Association Pediatric Endoscopic Surgery Group, Vice Chairman of the Pediatric Endoscopic Surgery Group, Vice Chairman of the Pediatric Male Group of the Chinese Medical Association Male Branch, Vice Chairman of the Pediatric Minimally Invasive Urology Group of the Chinese Association of Maternal and Child Health Care, Youth Member of the Chinese Medical Association Pediatric Surgery Branch, Member of the Chinese Medical Association Pediatric Surgeons Branch, Robotics Branch, Endoscopists Branch, etc. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery. He has presided over or participated in the completion of nearly 20 projects at the National Natural Science Foundation of China and municipal level, and has published nearly 40 papers in core journals at home and abroad, more than 10 SCI papers, and participated in the writing of 5 books. He is the first pediatric urologist in China to perform robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery.
