Biography

Lijian Xie, male, postgraduate supervisor, graduated from Fudan University in 2006 with a PhD in pediatrics, chief physician of the Department of Cardiology, Shanghai Children's Hospital, Shanghai, China. He conducted a visiting study at the University of Hong Kong Mary's Hospital in 2014 and at the University Hospital Emmendorf in Hamburg, Germany in 2008. He was awarded the Shanghai Talent Development Fund in 2016 and the SMC-Morning Star Young Scholar Award Program of Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2011.

She has long been engaged in clinical diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cardiovascular diseases, specializing in ultrasound diagnosis and interventional treatment of congenital heart disease, and has accumulated rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of critical Kawasaki disease, rescue of fulminant myocarditis, and diagnosis and treatment of various cardiomyopathies.  His research interests include the diagnosis of pediatric cardiovascular diseases and the study of the pathogenesis of Kawasaki disease.

His research focuses on the pathogenesis of Kawasaki disease and the evaluation of cardiac function by echocardiography, with emphasis on solving scientific problems in clinical practice. He has published 17 SCI papers.
