In order to accelerate the innovation and development of ideological and political education and medical professional courses and practical teaching, and further implement the requirements for the compilation of the national higher medical education clinical medical professional curriculum ideological and political education case database "Pediatrics", The final draft meeting of the national higher medical education clinical medicine professional curriculum ideological and political case base "Pediatrics", sponsored by People's Medical Publishing House and organized by the School of Pediatrics, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, was successfully held in Meeting room 203 of the Science and Education Building of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine from March 25 to 27, 2024. Medical experts, ideological and political education experts and teachers from all over the country attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Liu Shui, deputy general manager of Northwest Branch of PMS, Wang Yi, and Liu Xiaoping, chief editors of PMS, issued the letter of appointment to the participating experts, and organized all the experts of editorial committee to discuss and finalized the manuscript on the writing of each chapter. This case base is closely related to the content of the tenth edition of Pediatrics textbook of Human Health Association, and the key content of humanities and ideological and political education is integrated into the whole process of pediatric professional curriculum and education and teaching. After the completion of the compilation of this textbook, it will be used as an online case database for the ideological and political education of Pediatrics curriculum for the reference of teachers across the country.
