Recently, the College of Pediatrics successfully carried out the "pediatrics professional mentor meeting".

In order to enable undergraduate students of clinical medicine, especially those majoring in pediatrics, to have a deep understanding of pediatrics as well as the situation of pediatrics tutors and research teams, the School of Pediatrics set up a platform to hold a meeting of Pediatrics tutors in the morning of March 19th in the lecture hall on the 2nd floor of Yide Building, East Hospital of the School of Medicine, Jiaotong University. Nearly 40 pediatric graduate tutors from affiliated Xinhua Hospital, Children's Medical Center, Children's Hospital and affiliated general Hospital, all the "5+3" students of pediatrics major in 2019, some students of clinical major and teaching leaders of clinical medical schools attended the meeting. School of Pediatrics office director Lin Qian presided over the meeting, full-time vice president Chen Yiqi delivered a brief speech.

The tutor plays an important role in the training of pediatric talents, and plays an important role in the students' scientific research development, study life and career. At the meeting, each tutor introduced their research direction, research achievements and team situation in detail, and informed the contact information of the student tutor. The students of pediatrics and other majors listened carefully, and many students directly added the teacher's wechat for further communication.
