 In 2020, Chen graduated at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, School of Medicine. She majored in Preventive Medicine for her bachelor degree. In September 2020, she joined Jan Vijg Lab at the Center for Single Cell Omics as a master student. In the next 3 years, her main research interests will be bioinformatics and somatic mutations in age-related diseases.
