Toxicology and pharmacology research on food and drug resources

Research Areas

  • Focus on food & drug-related chemicals, including pollutants, new materials, and other ingredients, we carry out translational toxicology studies to explore the potential toxicological effects of long-term & low-dose exposure to food-borne hazards, identify the molecular target and mechanisms of action, and establish adverse outcomes pathways.

  • Focus on characteristic food and drug resources in China and their active substances, explore the protective and intervention effects on chronic diseases (tumor, metabolism, aging, etc.), discover food and drug resources and active ingredients with targeted effects, identify novel molecular and cellular targets, and develop novel precision prevention and intervention strategies.
